The hackathon will take place from February 5 to February 11, 2026, 9:00 PM to 9:00 PM PST. Dates and times are subject to change.
Eligibility
The hackathon is open to students and professionals of all skill levels. Participants can join individually or in teams of up to 4 members. All participants must register on Devpost to be eligible.
Project and Submission Requirements
Projects must address a real-world economic or financial problem using technology. Submissions must include a project title and description, screenshots or GIFs, optional demo video (1–3 minutes), team details, and a link to code or prototype. All work must be original and created during the hackathon period.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top projects based on creativity, impact, and execution. Specific prize details will be announced on the hackathon page.
Judging and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on creativity, technical execution, impact, and relevance to the theme. Winners will be selected and announced after the hackathon concludes, with decisions at the sole discretion of the judging panel.
